Interview Tips
What tips will make my interviews more successful?
What should I ask during an informational interview / networking meeting? I want to learn about the field and how to break into it.
What questions should I ask in an interview? What information should I listen for, versus ask specifically of the interviewer?
I've heard about the "elevator pitch" but what questions are most important to capture someone's attention? What key points can help someone get to know me quickly?
What questions should I ask in an interview, or prior to taking on a new role, to understand the organization's or department's culture?
How do I answer the question, "Why did you leave your last position?"
Who would be a good person to provide as a reference?
What could happen if I use a former boss (with whom I had a run-in) as a reference?
My résumé has references upon request. Should I give out references to an employer I am not that interested in or hold them for the best offers?
